This is an audacious project developed by Palavra de Satoshi to build a private Bitcoin-themed community in the northeast of Brazil! After we are successful in this venture, we will work for the rest of our lives to replicate this model in the rest of the world!
The objective is to build Paradise on Earth – the Terra de Satoshi. We will build this community as if it were a private “city” – we hope this analogy allows you to better understand what we want to do.
It will be a modern, technological, futuristic, planned, self-sustainable place and will have the best infrastructure we currently have in the 21st century, which is Satoshi’s century. I believe you already know, but Satoshi was the one who discovered Bitcoin in 2009. As we strongly believe in this new currency, which in addition to being global, is decentralized, free and promotes peace, we decided to build a “city” that can also offer a new model of social organization, based on principles and values of freedom and private contracts. This project will be much more than just a simple community, a subdivision or a private city – it will be Paradise on Earth.
Current stage
At this moment, Palavra de Satoshi is traveling through the northeast of Brazil, visiting all the areas that were offered for acquisition and construction of Terra de Satoshi.
Furthermore, Palavra de Satoshi is making an extremely qualified team official so that, together, we can make the impossible just a matter of opinion!
We are recruiting a legal, accounting, financial, technical team (architects, engineers, biologists) and marketing to make the dream become a reality!
Soon, Palavra de Satoshi will open a company in El Salvador to begin building this dream. The choice of El Salvador is due to the fact that this country is adapting to be bitcoin-friendly and, as a result, is opening up commercially to the whole world. And Palavra de Satoshi has the clear intention of replicating this new model of society to other places in the world!
New model of society
The model of society we are developing was based on the premise of bitcoin itself, which showed the world that decentralization is much more effective than central planning. After understanding this, we want to decentralize society!
Instead of decisions being centralized through political decisions, Terra de Satoshi will build its own model of social organization, in a decentralized way. Instead of having mayors, let’s have a CEO. Instead of having councilors, we will have executive directors. Instead of having a representative democracy (that is, delegating decisions to third parties), we will have a direct democracy: anyone who has an NFT or a token will have the right to own their own voice!
Instead of having property relative to the state, we will grant absolute ownership to whoever owns the NFT corresponding to that property.
How does this work in practice?
Palavra de Satoshi is in favor of technology and has come to the conclusion that it is time to not just speculate on it, but to use it!
We will replace the outdated notary system, using blockchain and NFTs (non-fungible tokens). NFT is an electronic symbol created on a blockchain platform that represents something considered unique, such as a work of art, a collectible item and even real estate.
Using these tokens, it will be possible to prove ownership of a lot in the community, without the need for a deed in the conventional model. It will be something simpler, more practical, more economical and more precise.
We will also use the tokenization model in place of an equity model, so that people can be shareholders in some Terra de Satoshi ventures.
Use of technology
Palavra de Satoshi will acquire the entire area to build the community and will sell a collection of NFTs backed by the project’s land.
In other words, whoever acquires the respective NFT backed by a specific piece of land will, through private contracts, have absolute and lifetime ownership of the land acquired.
A video will be made where Vinícius will explicitly give ownership rights to whoever owns the NFT of the respective land.
Palavra de Satoshi will acquire the land and it will be necessary to have a final registration using the old notary model. Soon after, the transition from the registry office to the NFT system will be made, where Palavra will sell the lifetime usufruct of the land, with the right to absolute ownership through a private contract registered on the Bitcoin blockchain, in NFT format. After the issuance of the “main NFT”, for the total area, “secondary NFTs” will be created, for the individual plots of land.
Enabling the purchase of land
Considering that Palavra de Satoshi does not have the necessary resources to fully purchase the area, it will be critical to have, at first, at least 21 buyers/investors, who will be part of Satoshi’s Word’s most select club, as they will ensure sufficient financial security to kick-start the project.
These initial contracts will guarantee sufficient cash flow for us to: open the company, pay the down payment for the full area and a few months’ installments, pay for the beginning of the infrastructure necessary to begin construction of the resort and pay a few months of the salaries of the hired team.
Subsequently, it will be necessary to sell all the land so that we can honor the commitments made and complete the project. This will involve fully paying off the area, developing all the necessary infrastructure, ensuring the salaries of professionals involved in the project, among other costs.
As we are still in the phase of analyzing the area, assembling the team and detailing the infrastructure costs and implementation of the project, we have not yet made official the definitive prices for the land.
Enabling the sale of residential lots
Given that we recognize the superior value of Bitcoin in relation to the state currency, we have decided that we will not price the lots in Bitcoin, but rather in the state currency itself. This aims to simplify and make life easier for future buyers!
Payment methods: as is known, at the beginning of a construction project, it takes a few years until the land is handed over due to several factors. We need to acquire the area, develop the infrastructure that encompasses water, sewage, energy and other services, in addition to going through the project approval process.
With this, we believe that we will probably start handing over the land to begin construction within 36 months after purchasing the entire area.
Therefore, we have some suggestions so that you can be our neighbor and come live in paradise.
Due to the importance we give to the community we are building, we would like to inform you that we will establish a very rigorous selection process to approve the entry of new residents/neighbors in the Land of Satoshi. This approach aims to ensure a cohesive and integrated community, made up of individuals who share the same principles and values.
